Westfield is on the look out for a local hero

Westfield Parish Council has launched its search for this year's inspirational local resident who has improved the community in a special way.

They are looking to anoint a new local hero, the parish's inspirational individual of the year 2021.

Suggestions include anyone who has been helping out during the coronavirus lockdowns with shopping or befriending.

Last year the award went to Martin Bates who had been the Chairman of Westfield Allotment and Garden Society for over five years.

Nominations can be made by any individual, of any age.

Nominations can be made for any individual, of any age, provided they are resident in Westfield.

The Parish Council is currently working remotely from their office on Cobblers Way, Westfield BA3 3BX.

They have their next virtual meeting of the finance and personnel committee on Wednesday 20th January 2021 starting at 7pm.
