A Midsomer Norton resident has sent Nub News a photo of what she has called the worst littering she has ever come across during two years of local litter picks.

This is what you can see in Westfield... scores of dog waste bags stuffed into the side of a local lane.

The reader of Nub News was out yesterday (January 13) and saw this along the footpath that runs down the side of the Shell garage in Westfield.

As you can see there are scores of dog waste bags.

She told us she also collected over fifty used polythene gloves from the garage too.

Sandra Coles, who heads up the local Womble group said she had left the dog poo and have reported it to the council.

She said: " I have been collecting two years now and I'm a head Womble of Wombles of Midsomer Norton and surrounding areas but this photo which I took today, is the one of the worst things I've come across.

"Dozens of dog poo bags piled up along the edge of a public footpath."
