So these ladies mean business.

They are at the first class of 2020 at Norton Radstock's Amateur Boxing Club.

They certainly look like they can hold their own and the class is a great chance to burn off that Christmas excess.

Owner and trainer Sean Jenkins said: " Wow, what a turnout for the first ladies session of 2020. An excellent effort from the girls and great to see some new faces joining in. Onwards and upwards."

If you want to go to a class, the first is free, everyone is welcome (although he recommends that for the ladies session you are over 16 because the sessions are tough going) . Sean provides the gloves.

The ladies meet at 7.30 on a Wednesday, but there are other classes for all ages and all abilities.
