Olivia from Midsomer Norton Primary School raised over £50 on Christmas Eve for Alzheimer's Research UK outside of their home.

This cause is very close to the children's hearts, their grandma who previously lived next door has the devastating disease and the family miss her so much. Olivia, 8, had thought of the idea all on her own and had decided what they would sell and how.

Our lovely neighbours were so kind and generous and despite the awful weather we had several generous passers by. Olivia had made bookmarks and offered tattoos.

Alzheimer's is a disease that takes people away very slowly and it's very cruel and hard for the family around that person.
