A hugely significant local pub has been put up for sale - the Red Post Inn on the Bath Road in Peasedown is up for sale.
The Inn has over the years held all kinds of parties... weddings, anniversaries, not to mention those all important skittle tournaments.
It is Grade II listed, detached and dates back to 1851.
The pub, is, according to the marketing material, bringing in an annual net profit of over £140,000 and is described as 'easy to run' with 450 annual composite barrels.
According to the sales brochure the ground floor, which is the main bar area has three parts with a range of back bar equipment including three back bar refrigerators. A second area with a part flagstone floor and has a raised seating area for around 30 with pool table and dartboard while there is a smaller bar area with a pool table and limited seating.
The pub also has a skittle alley and a function room with a separate dance floor area which can host crowds of up to 70 people.
