Along with a some new faces there will be one very recognisable face this coming Saturday - Ted's Plants.

Nub News caught up with Ted, who tells us he has been gardening since he was 12 at his plot in Radstock, at the Frome carnival fete in Victoria Park.

It had been a good selling session for Ted, who says his favourite plants are always the fuschias, but also offers more exotic plants such as the snake plant.

Ted says selling at markets is always excitingly unpredictable. He told Nub News: " You can take the best looking plant - and not sell it - and then you have an ugly plant and wow you could sell it again and again and it disappears.

" The only exception is that is the fuchsias, everyone loves a fuchsia, I sold out at a market last week of them, the first time ever. I have no idea why but but they are so popular and it seems everyone wants one."

Along with Ted's plants the line up this Saturday will also include Glastonbury Ferments a small company creating gut friendly sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha from local vegetables-come and find out why so many people are turning to these foods and what health benefits they offer.

Redwoods Farm will be returning with their beef ,free range poultry and lamb and eggs reared on their farm where they practice regenerative methods to support the eco system.

If you missed them last week also pay a visit to Whitehorse Micro Greens who produce nutrient rich micro herbs, salads and vegetables.
