Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O'Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 12.30pm at St John's Church, Midsomer Norton: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café from midday where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert. 

December's programme is a collection of seasonal music with a warming feel: some inspired by fire itself, alongside contrasting lullabies and other beautiful melodies to calm the spirits. Music by Vivaldi, Fauré, Vladimir Rebikov and others.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & Rosemary's delicious home-made cakes - are on sale half an hour before the concert. There's no need to book, though an RVSP via our website is appreciated…turn up early for best choice of seat, and maybe bring a cushion for the pew.
