Auction of Midsomer Norton's Holly Court : Needs a spruce up says highly rated new restaurant
Next month's auction of Holly Court in Midsomer Norton is being looked forward to by at least one of the existing tenants.
Soyful restaurant which opened in June upstairs in the food court, has already gained a well-earned reputation for fine food, the chef having previously worked at the prestigious Mint Room in Bath.
The owner has secured a long lease at the court and told Nub News rather than being worried about new owners, was hopeful that they would immediately start with some much-needed sprucing up of the premises.
The auction is on October 19.
The two-storey shopping arcade on Midsomer Norton High Street has been listed with an opening bid of £850,000.
It is home to a number of outlets including Essence Café, AK Pizza, a beauty salon and Shaws Fruit, Veg and Vintage and Soyful Kitchen, both of which opened this year.
The centre brings in annual rent of £98,973, which works out at just £12 per square metre.
