Do you by any chance recognise any of these Midsomer faces from the late 60s?

Sometime between 1967 and 1969 these youngsters were taken by a teacher along to the station to take part in a clear up.

From the look, they were older teenagers at the time.

Now the heritage railway crew are hoping to recreate the photo - including the brooms - with the original faces.

The photo was published on the Somerset History & Mystery Facebook page.

Somerset & Dorset Railway Heritage Trust at Midsomer Norton Station would like to hear from anyone who is in the photo, or knows someone who is, so they can have some fun and try and create a now and then comparison

The station on the Somerset and Dorset joint line closed in March 1966 and laid empty, before being sold to a local school in 1969. According to the caption, on the photo credited to Bath in Time, although the precise date is unclear it is post 1967 because that was when the signal box was demolished.

If you are in the photo, or know someone who is message them on Facebook, or email: [email protected]
