B&NES launches new online support site for adults who need care

A new online resource providing information and signposting to adults who need care or support to live independently has been launched by Bath & North East Somerset Council.

Live Well B&NES adults replaces the council's Wellbeing Options service and provides a wealth of valuable information and resources on a variety of topics including:

Housing options

Home care providers

Financial support services

Organisations to help you make important decisions

Support to maintain health and mental wellbeing

Local clubs and activities

Councillor Alison Born, joint cabinet member for Adult Services and Council House Building, said: "It's really important that people are empowered to lead full and independent lives. Across Bath and North East Somerset we have a comprehensive range of support services to help people to stay living in their own homes . By visiting Live Well B&NES adults you can find their details in just a few clicks. The website is clear and easy to navigate and I'm sure will prove invaluable to users."

The site is regularly updated to provide the very latest information. If you work with, support, provide services or run groups for adults needing care or support and want to be included please register. HERE the Live Well site
