Top secret filming up at the private residence at Ammerdown started today and Nub News tried for an exclusive.

Sadly not to be, but we were told, unofficially, that the area is being sealed off for classic film starring a not-so-classic actress.

Today (June 24) they were rigging and setting up for the shoot which is expected to happen in the private home on the estate. But the hundreds of crew (one of whom Nub News spoke to) will only be on site for 48 hours.

Nub News understands that the filming will be happening tomorrow (June 25) with a top American actress, and we were (again unofficially told) to expect a certain Dakota Johnson to be in BA3.

It was confirmed in May that Dakota has transformed into a Jane Austen heroine for an upcoming Netflix film.

The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 31, will portray the role of Anne Elliot in a new adaptation of Austen's final novel, Persuasion. Also starring in the film, the gorgeous Henry Golding, the heart throb from the Crazy Rich Asians film.

The adaptation of the classic book has been described by Variety as: " A modern, witty approach to a beloved story while still remaining true to Jane Austen's classic novel.'

This is the second big book filming that has happened in Ammerdown in recent times. Nub News was told by a former lady of the house that it was one of the locations for the BBC adaptation of the classic Nancy Mitford novel The Pursuit of Love, which starred Lily James.
