When the Midsomer Norton Christmas Lights will be switched on is one of the items currently on the agenda of the virtual council meeting October 13.

The proposal before councillors is that they get switched on November 20.

On the B&NES web site that is the date already agreed for the lighting up ceremony with lights supplied by the main council contractor.

Bath's Christmas lights are scheduled to be turned on Thursday 19th November 2020 while Radstock will see its lights switched on November 28.

Details about the switch on are HERE:

Other items to be discussed include supporting local traders ahead of the critical Christmas period, with a special Christmas shopping pull out in the winter edition of the Midsomer Norton Life Magazine.

They will also be discussing the issue of speeding cars along Midsomer Norton High Street.
