Radstock Nub News put up a photo last week of the lights already up in Westfield - pre Halloween.

We wanted to know how residents felt about Christmas coming so early. You can now buy a Christmas tree too over at Mole Valley Farmers... in fact their Christmas sales area, Nub News has been told, been open since October 1. On Sunday the trees were outside the farming and engineering company in Standerwick.

Over in Frome the lights are up on Catherine Hill.

Going back to the price of diesel, drivers are being warned there is more pain to come. Business channel CNBC has been reporting that, although prices are now 33 per cent higher, because of a worldwide shortage, they will only go higher. Over in the United States reserves of diesel have not been this low since 1951 .

In the UK the current average diesel price, according to the RAC is 190.49 also with their prediction this is only going up.

You can check their latest UK-wide price comparison HERE which also has the average petrol prices
