There were delays today (May 19) on the main Radstock Road out of Midsomer Norton, a knock on from the roadworks within the centre of Radstock AND resurfacing work up Clandown Road.

The resurfacing of Clandown is scheduled to carry on until May 21.

Coombend, Fosseway and Chapel Road are all due to be worked on for what B&NES calls carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing. The updated map for roadworks shows the road open but with a diversion in place, however today it was shut to traffic heading past the Radstock Hotel. Work on these roads began on May 17, just as businesses were allowed to re-open.

Works on the gas main along The Street in Radstock are due to be completed on June 4 - they started on April 26, with a one system now in place past the library. Fortescue Road is still open for business.
