Coming soon up the road on the outskirts of Frome : Bouldering Rooms

In the empty warehouses on the left hand side as you arrive on the outskirts of Frome, the new Frome Boulder Rooms.
As the video shows the walls are really taking shape (June 29).
The word room does not do justice to the inspiring conversion of the former warehouses of the old TH White site off Vallis Road.
It is still work in progress, but the climbing matts are expected this week and then they can start building the holds into the walls.
No promises, but they are hoping to be opening by the end of July. Although as you can appreciate, with a project THIS big, nothing is can be set in stone.
What is certain is that Charly from the project hopes to make it a truly inclusive venue. She told Nub News : " I am just looking forward to seeing a new climbing community grow, and see families and friends out together challenging themselves. "
