Coronation ideas - if you are having a party or a parade to celebrate then let the Midsomer Norton Town Council know.

They have some money left in the budget which they agreed at the latest council meeting to put towards a commemoration leaflet.

Initially the council had hoped to join any town-orientated events with coronation celebrations at the Heritage Station, but at the meeting on March 20, councillors were told those plans were not firmed up.

The council has around £2,000 left in the budget for events this year and agreed to put around £1,000 from it into a Souvvenir Programme for King Charles III coronation which is on Saturday May 6. The coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

If you have any events which you would like included in the programme contact Midsomer Norton Town Council HERE.
