Bristol Water has just announced (December 9) that it will be closing the A362 Radstock Road in Welton from 8pm tonight.

It has had to close the road for emergency works due to burst water main.

You may not have noticed because the company says it is underground and the leak is not currently visible on road surface.

The leak is on A362 Radstock Road, near the garage doors show room. Welton Road also remains closed for other utility works but is expected to re-open by the end of Friday.

But they are warning road users that this closure may be for 3 days.

Meantime the temporary traffic signals on Silver Street for other Bristol Water works due to be removed by 7pm this evening
