The roadworks in and around the roundabout into the local Tesco are scheduled to have three way lights for at least another month.

Work began on the pipeline in early March. According to the posted works the traffic control (multi-way signals) are not due to clear until 27 May 23:59 BST.

The engineers were certainly busy there yesterday (April 22) with long tailbacks along Thicket Mead and up and around the roundabout into Paulton.

The digging is being carried out by ESP Utilities Group which says that it is one of the UK's largest and longest established Independent Gas Transporters (IGT) and Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO) in the UK.

Tesco's is always one of the cheapest local sites for petrol.

Not much sign of local petrol prices at other pumps like this one in Westfield falling in spite of wholesale prices going down.

Oil prices fell on international markets by more than 5% on April 19 when the International Monetary Fund cut growth forecasts to 3.6% in its latest outlook report, 0.8 percentage points lower than its previous estimate in January
