Midsomer Norton cycling enthusiasts. The police need your help to recover a distinctive mountain bike.

It was taken from a home in Bath.

The bike is a man's orange coloured Santa Cruz Hi Tower mountain bike. Even second-hand the bike is worth several thousand pounds and is the type used by cycling professionals in world competitions.

It has a Thompson stem and full carbon handlebars, made by Nukeproof.

Officers are urging second hand and cycling shops to be on the lookout for the bike and would also appeal to cycling enthusiasts to remain vigilant.
