Heritage money for Midsomer Norton High Street and Keynsham : Jobs now on offer to decide how to use it

Two jobs have been opened up as managers for the rejuvenation of Midsomer Norton High Street since it got heritage money.

B&NES is advertising for two roles , fixed term until March 2024,

to lead on the heritage led regeneration of Midsomer and Keynsham.

Both towns will be getting money to revive their High Streets.

They are partnership roles co-funded by Historic England, the West of England Authority and Midsomer Norton and Keynsham Town Councils.

The salary is £35,745 - £38,890 pa.

The job specification is for a High Street Project Manager for each town who will encourage and co-ordinate " delivery of a range of schemes, including shopfront and historic building improvements, public realm improvements, pop-up shops, markets, animation projects, urban greening and art interventions. "

Closing date for applications is October 12.
