The local charity We Hear You - which is charity of the year for local solicitors Thatcher + Hallam is launching a new social enterprise in 2022. Yet to be named, will offer paid-for counselling for people affected by cancer. Like the sister social enterprise the WHY Gallery, it will exist as a completely independent organisation, except that any profits generated will be donated to WHY at the end of each financial year, providing a vital, stable income stream for WHY's free services for anyone from age four upwards who needs support because they are affected or bereaved by cancer or any life threatening condition. They are looking for a Senior Counsellor to work closely with the social enterprise's Operations Manager Lisa Hirst to set up and deliver this new counselling service. The counselling will be open-ended and have a humanistic/integrative approach.
