Local cleaning work : for the Neighbourhood Environmental Services Department

They posted : Our Cleansing department works hard to keep our urban and non-urban areas free from litter and illegally dumped waste, keeping our environment clean. Our aim is to create an environment free from debris, litter, dirt and all sorts of other abandoned waste. Our cleansing teams are made up of three different roles: Street Cleansing Manual Operative - £19,264 per annum.

The typical working pattern is made up 37 contractual hours during the week plus 3 hours contractual over time so a total of 40 hours. The contractual over time is used to make up 2 x 6-hour weekend shifts every 4 weeks. These are normally undertaken in the either a Saturday or Sunday morning from 6am to 1pm.
