The formal planning application to build six houses a the Stones Cross Hotel site in Midsomer Norton has been lodged.

The details about the planning application, at 2 North Road, were validated by B&NES on February 7. That means it is now open for comments.

Outline planning has been put in, for a second time, to build a total of six homes, along with a private drive way and parking spaces.

Public consultations for the application (under planning number PP-08248147), will close on March 12, while planners have stated that they hope to have made a decision on it by April 3.

The first application to build six homes on the site, was made in 2018, and that was refused.
