Local planning news in and around Radstock this week

In front of planners at B&NES this week, applications include:

The Magpies on Mill Road in Radstock, BA3 3PX (under reference

20/04163/TCA) have applied to take down to ground level a row of conifers.

The owners of 20 Hillside Avenue in Midsomer Norton (reference 20/04160/FUL) have applied to build a single storey rear extension.

In Farrington Gurney householders at 14 Farrington Way (postcode BS39 6US, under reference 20/04248/CLPU), have applied to demolish their existing conservatory and build a single storey extension to create a new garden room.

In Shoscombe there is an application in to convert agricultural buildings on land west of St Julian's Farm on St Julian's Road. Under reference

20/04116/ADCOU they have put in a request for prior approval.

Planning decisions decided this week by B&NES include:

An application by Mark House, on Smallcombe Road in Clandown, to build a first floor extension to form an upstairs bathroom has been permitted.

Also in Clandown, an application to build a two storey rear extension at 3 Princes Street (reference 20/03320/FUL) has been permitted.

There is no objection to tree works at Littlebrook House, 13A Meadow View, in Radstock.

An application to build a single storey side extension at 13 Fosseway Gardens, in Westfield has been permitted.

Approved in Peasedown, a single storey rear extension at 10 Old Forge Way, BA2 8TS.

Also approved in Peasedown, plans to build at single storey rear extension at 81 Under Knoll.

While an application to a single storey extension at 56 Ashgrove, Peasedown St. John, BA2 8EF (reference 20/03420/CLPU) has been withdrawn.
