Local pub - once said to have a resident ghost - is put up for lease as a going concern

This Buckland Dinham pub has been put on the market as a going concern.

The Bell, which was often a key stop off point for local cyclists from Radstock and over from Frome, closed earlier this year.

It was feared that the pub, which dates back over 400 years, would be turned into flats.

But now it is being marketed as a going concern and for sale with an agent which specialises in industry sales of pubs, clubs and bars.

The ivy-covered traditional inn closed in February holding a farewell party for staff who said they hoped it would be bought by a publican willing to keep it operating as a business. It is now being advertised as a Freehold property for £400,000 Leasehold Nil Premium.
