Local surgeries merging - consultation to find out more about plans for St Chad's

Residents have expressed concerns about plans to merge St Chads and Chilcompton and Somerton House Surgeries.

The medical team say the merger will ensure that services are what they say will be "sustainable, accessible and fit for the future."

The consultation event for St Chads, Chilcompton and Somerton House, will take place on Wednesday the 22nd of March at 6pm at the Somer Centre.

On the video a GP partner says : "A larger organisation will be better able to rise to challenges facing primary care." Adding the aim is to "Bring together the best of both practices."

The process would happen in the first half of 2024.
