Lockdown easing : Two disturbances in Midsomer - one arrest

Police officers were called out twice in Midsomer Norton over the weekend - and one man was arrested.

Firstly they were called at 11.05pm on Saturday 18 July to reports of a disturbance in Redfield Road, Midsomer Norton.

In an official response they told Nub News: "Police attended shortly before 11.15pm and the groups of people began to disperse.

Police then received reports of further disorder at 11.55pm in High Street.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threatening/abusive behaviour. He has received a caution.
