Long standing members of Radstock Co-operative Society, Wendy and Paul Treasure have celebrated 60 years of marriage. The couple marked their diamond wedding anniversary on the 30th March 2023 with their family in Peasedown St John.

Our CEO, Don Morris & Society's president Graham Jeffery visited the couple to present them with an array of gifts from the Society to honour the special occasion.

Wendy and Paul met whilst at a dance held in Wells at Mendip Hospital by the EMI club. They tied the knot a year later at Binegar church and celebrated the union at the Mermaid Inn in Wells. When asked what's the secret to a long and lasting marriage the couple said: 'The most important thing is to be there for one another through all of life's challenges. As well as a bit of give and take!'
