Another star-studded cast will be passing through Radstock when it has been reported that a production of the best-selling novel Rivals continues filming up at Orchardleigh.
The one hundred acre estate is expected to be chosen as a the latest location for the TV series starring David Tennant, Danny Dyer and Emily Atack.
The actors have already been out and about in Corsham, and in Bristol, now the team is expected in the next few weeks in Orchardleigh Estate on the road towards Frome.
The blockbuster eight-part series, based on the iconic 1988 novel, Rivals, is the second instalment in Jilly Cooper's Rutshire Chronicles series.
The book follows the rivals and rascals as they move from the riding world into the world of TV with Rupert Campbell-Black, played by Alex Hassell and Lord Tony Baddingham, who is played by Tennant. One reviewer of the book described it as : 'Glorious . . . fabulously happy endings for incredibly poorly behaved people!'
Filming of Rivals is taking place over the summer of 2023, so the series is expected to drop on Disney Plus some time later in 2023 or early 2024.
