Stuck for lunch option?

On March 10 you could feed your hunger and the coffers of a fabulous local charity which is offering a bottomless bowl of soup for just £5.

SWALLOW is a local registered charity based in Westfield, which provides supported housing, education and training and outreach in the community as well as a range of support towards employment and activities to reduce social isolation. The charity is a user-led organisation and was started in 1993 in response to the needs and wishes of local people with learning disabilities. It now helps over 140 teenagers and adults locally.

They will be offering a local lunch at St Peter's Church, in Westfield, with soup and bread for a modest price, along with a raffle and cakes.

The special fundraiser will be on March 10 from noon until 13:30 and everyone is welcome.

They are also hosting some events to put in your diary for May.

2nd May – Cream tea and concert with the Mendip Male Voice Choir and the SWALLOW Choir at St Nicholas Church Radstock.

16th May – Zumbathon at Chilcompton Village Hall.
