Make the most of today (June 14) and tomorrow, Tuesday, because the Met Office has issued a weather warning for a large swathe of the UK, including Midsomer Norton.

From late Wednesday and through Thursday and Friday they are forecasting a big drop in temperature (down to 17 0c on Friday) and thunderstorms.

On the weather site that yellow warning includes:

There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail and strong winds

Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.

Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.

There is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads.

So all very different from now, when the sun is expected to bring another record breaking day temperature wise, to Midsomer.

There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
