Midsomer Norton Cricket Club gets ready for the new season

Following the Prime Minister's recent announcements Midsomer Norton Cricket Club are now actively planning for what we hope will be a full season of cricket this year.

It is our aim to provide an introduction to cricket (All Stars and Dynamos), competitive cricket, cricket coaching and training for all ages.

All Stars (5-8 years old) - We understand that registration for those previously attending will be open online from 16th March and for any new participants registration will open on 22nd March

Dynamos (8-11years old) – Online registration with the same dates as All Stars. Depending on numbers signing up we will look to run both boys and girls groups with female coaches for the girls

Saturday – we will be running three Saturday sides

Ladies and Girls Softball Cricket

Youth Cricket – We will look to run teams at under 11, 13 and 15 this season

Sunday – the club will look to arrange a series of fixtures during the season

Club Chairman Graeme King said: "After such an awful year for us all we are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Club whether as returning members or new members.

"We anticipate that the All Stars and Dynamos places will be filled quickly so book as soon as you can. We also have a full fixture list for our three

Saturday sides, youth sides and Ladies Softball Cricket teams and the club will have fully qualified coaches and activators for all age groups. "
