As you can imagine the new National Lock Down took us all by surprise but we have been pleased and relieved to learn that as an 'essential food market' we are still able to hold our Farmers Market this Saturday.

As you know we have already worked hard to ensure the layout is safe and each of our food producers has submitted a risk assessment to minimise any risks of transferring the virus. We also benefit hugely from being held outdoors!

However we need everyone to follow the guidelines to maintain a safe environment

Sanitise your hands on arrival

Follow the one way system

Only one person/household at a stall at a time

Form a safe queue maintaining a safe distance while waiting for a stall to be free.

Please don't visit the market if you feel unwell

Please do not be put off coming down to shop with us,you can combine your permitted shopping & exercise with fresh air and also showing support to the farmers and food producers who have had such a difficult year.

On Saturday we welcome The Dorset Dairy from just over the border who are using their cows milk to produce a range of cream,yoghurts,cultured butters and fresh milk ( whole,semi-skimmed & flavoured).

We also say hello to 'The Wicked Chilli' a family Chilli farm who produce a full range of Chilli based sauces,oils and dressings.

NB we are still seeking clarification whether our plant stalls Teds Plants & In Clover are allowed to trade.

Somerset Cheese Company- Multi awardwinning artsian Cheesemakers using local cows,goats,sheep & buffalo milk.

The Pudding Kitchen- all you need to get you through the next lockdown- delicious desserts & bakes!

The Story Pig- outdoor reared Tamworth Pork reared for flavour, bacons,joints sausages & chops.
