Midsomer Norton High Street shop up for sale

By Susie Watkins 25th Aug 2020

Midsomer Norton High Street is facing potentially two big blows to footfall.

The owners of McColl's in the High Street has today (August 25) confirmed that the shop is up for sale.

But they have refused to comment on whether it will be taken on as a going concern or will be closed.

In a statement to Nub News they said: " We can confirm that the store is currently being advertised for sale, but we don't have any further details to add at this moment."

Meantime Llloyds Pharmacy is closing its doors on October 30. The company says customers will be able to use its operation at St Chad's surgery.

Further along the High Street the charity branch of Sue Ryder seems to be clearing out. They have never re-opened since lockdown ended.

If you know of any other businesses which are coming into Midsomer Norton or perhaps could do with some support, Midsomer Norton Nub News is keen to promote local business, especially at this difficult trading time.

You can also always put your business details on our local listings which is FREE. Just go here and push the Nub It button.
