Midsomer Norton Public Annual Town Meeting

All electors of Midsomer Norton are invited to attend the next Public Annual Town Meeting. The meeting will take place on Tuesday 19th April 2022 at 7pm, in the Assembly Room at the Town Hall, Midsomer Norton.

The meeting will be chaired by the Mayor, Councillor Lynda Robertson, and the following matters have so far been placed on the agenda:

• Apologies for absence
• Minutes of the last Public Annual Town meeting
• Council Annual Report 2021 - 2022
• Questions/representations submitted from electors

There will also be a presentation from Edward Heritage, High Street Project Manager – Midsomer Norton HSHAZ from the High Streets Reopening & Renewal Programme. This will provide up to date information on the project to revitalise the Town Hall and The Island – creating a new public space for markets, arts and cultural events, and planned works to improve pedestrian access across the town, and a scheme to repair historic shopfronts. Some refreshments will be provided prior to the start of the meeting, and we hope to see you there.
