Midsomer Norton roadworks for week commencing November 18

There will be temporary traffic lights on the A362 Radstock Road in Welton this week for Virgin Media works to take place.

The lights will be in place close to Welton Primary School for five days from Thursday November 21.

Other roadworks in Midsomer Norton this week include:

The notice for potential road closure of the B3355 Silver Street continues to enable works associated with the new primary school to take place.

However, the temporary traffic lights on Charlton Road for Bristol Water to install a new water connection, are scheduled to be removed on Monday November 18.

Also scheduled to finish on Monday are Virgin Media's works to lay a new duct at the junction of Silver Street and South Road, and the work by Wales and West Utilities to repair a gas leak in Redfield Road.

Redfield Road will see work return a day later, though, as Bristol Water are scheduled to be installing a talbot box and new meter there from Tuesday November 19 to Thursday.

On Sunday November 24, Virgin Media will be using stop and go traffic control for works in Paulton Road.

From Monday to Wednesday November 20, Virgin Media will be working in Riverside Gardens.

On Tuesday, patching work will take place in Charlton Park and St Mark's Road.

From Tuesday to Thursday, Virgin Media will be clearing a blockage in the pavement in Hillside Avenue, and Bristol Water will be working in Park Way.

From Wednesday until Friday November 22, Bristol Water will be undertaking works in Providence Place.

On Monday, Bristol Water's work in Redfield Grove and High Meadows should be finished.

On Tuesday, Virgin Media's work in Hillside Avenue should be completed, as should Bristol Water's work in Somer Avenue.

Finally, Wednesday should see the completion of the surveying work by Wales and West Utilities in Underhill Lane.
