There will be temporary traffic lights on the A367 Fosseway in Westfield this week for patching work to take place.

On Wednesday and Thursday November 27 and 28, there will be multi-way lights along the road so the resurfacing work can be completed.

However, Virgin Media's works to clear a blockage on the road should be completed by Tuesday November 26.

Other roadworks in Midsomer Norton this week include:

Wednesday will see patching work taking place on the B3355 Northmead Road, while similar work will take place under stop and go traffic control on the B3355 Church Lane on Friday November 29.

On Monday November 25, the temporary traffic lights for Virgin Media's work on the A362 Radstock Road should be removed.

While the road closure notice for the B3355 Silver Street for works related to the new primary school remains in place, there will also be temporary traffic lights there from Monday to Wednesday so Bristol Water can fit a new connection.

From Monday to Wednesday, Virgin Media will be working on a duct in the pavement at the junction of Silver Street and South Road.

On Tuesday, Western Power Distribution will be using stop and go boards to control traffic while it undertakes overhead works in Paulton Road.

In the same road on Wednesday, Virgin Media will also be using stop and go boards to control traffic for their work.

Also on Wednesday, stop and go traffic control will be used in Monger Lane, Welton, so potholes can be filled in.

From Monday to Wednesday, Bristol Water will be repairing a leak in Kingsley Road and fitting a new connection in Clapton Road.

On Tuesday, patching work will be taking place in St Peter's Road, Westfield.

From Tuesday to Thursday, Bristol Water will be repairing leaks in Providence Place and Chaucer Road.

From Wednesday to Friday, Bristol Water will be undertaking works in Woodpecker Avenue and Withies Park.

On Thursday, patching work should take place in Charlton Park, and from Thursday to December 2, Bristol Water will be working in Pinewood Road.

Finishing on Monday should be Western Power Distribution's work to repair a fault in Charlton Park, and Bristol Water's work to repair a leak in Hazel Grove, Westfield.

Finally, Bristol Water's works to repair leaks in Hazel Terrace, Westfield, and Shelley Road should be completed on Tuesday.
