The first meeting of (some) new councillors at the Town Council will be on Monday May 15 at 7pm.

It is the Annual General Meeting at The Hollies and the first chance of some of those newly-elected on May 4 to get voted onto a variety of committees.

The full list of those invited is : Councillor Lynda Robertson (Mayor), Councillor Jemma Griffiths, Councillor Shaun Hughes, Councillor Charlotte Lucas, Councillor Gordon Mackay, Councillor Mike Moxham, Councillor Martyn Plant, Councillor Alun Pughe, Councillor Deborah Thatcher, Councillor Martin Thatcher and Councillor Tim Wells.

It is also open to the public, and the first item on the agenda is the election of a town mayor.
