Peasedown St John is continuing to see improvements to its road infrastructure and public realm, thanks to a year-long campaign by the village's Bath & North East Somerset Councillors, Karen Walker and Sarah Bevan.

Over the last 18 months, the councillors have secured investments in street lighting, new signage and road and pavement resurfacing.

Last week, broken road safety bollards on the A367 by-pass next to the junction with Bath Road, were replaced.

Cllr Karen Walker (Independent) said: "We are grateful to the staff at Bath & North East Somerset Council for fixing these bollards. Residents first contacted Cllr Bevan and me over a year ago about this issue.

"The recent social restrictions and government lockdown put a lot of planned work on hold, which is why it has taken so long for these replacement bollards to be installed. But now they have, and they look great!"

Karen and Sarah would like to hear from any residents who'd like to report broken pavements, bollards, signage and other infrastructure in the public realm. They can get in touch by emailing [email protected].
