Planning applications and decisions in and around Midsomer Norton this week

Applications made to the local planning department this week include:

At number 12 Coombend in Radstock they have made an application to build five three bedroomed homes and a two bedroom flat, following the demolition of existing commercial building at the address.

The social club at Paulton Rovers Football Club on Winterfield Road in Paulton has applied to put up an illuminated LED electronic board.

Also in Paulton the owners of 14 Gregory's Tyning, have applied to build a single storey side and rear extensions.

At Highacres on Bath Road in Tunley, they have applied to build a single storey rear extension, a first floor extension to the existing single storey annexe following demolition of existing conservatory and bootroom.

In Keynsham, Parkhouse Farm on Parkhouse Lane has applied to get change the use of existing outbuildings from garages and stables into holiday lets.

Decisions made by B&NES planners this week include:

One of the planning conditions regarding the proposed new health centre on Waterloo Road in Radstock, has been discharged. Condition 2 (Archaeology) of application 17/01466/FUL has been discharged. The plans are for a new health centre and ancillary pharmacy, community kitchen, children's centre and library.

The application concerning the former Keynsham Fire Station, on Temple Street, which had been made to turn it into a boutique hotel with nine apartments, two retail units and a restaurants has been withdrawn.
