35 Thicket Mead, Midsomer Norton, has applied to build a  single storey extension. Details under 22/02288/FUL

Mooncroft, on West Road, in Welton, has applied to make changes to the first floor and roof layout, to increase the overall floor area. Details under reference 22/02210/FUL

Highfields, on Silver Street, Midsomer Norton, has applied to do some tree works under Ref. 22/02234/TPO. The list is pretty extensive, specifically the homeowners want to : Wellingtonia - Crown lifting to 4m - Obstructing driveway, T2 - Beech - Crown lifting to 4m - Overhanging access route, G1 - All trees - Crown lifting to 3m - Obstructing hedge growth, blocking light, G3 - Sycamore - Crown lifting to 3m - Obstructing hedge growth, G2 - Oak + Copper Beech - Crown lifting to 3m - Obstructing hedge growth, blocking light, G2 - Lime + Maple - Crown lifting to 4m - Obstructing access route, 11 - Sycamore - Fell as will be exposed + unbalanced due to loss of Ash tree.

The owners of 13 Somerset Way, in Paulton, have put in a planning application to build a two storey side and rear extension. Details under Reference 22/02227/FUL

Over in Peasedown, at the football ground, an application is in to vary conditions 4 and 5 of application 21/04993/FUL (Siting of 10m x 7m concrete slab and the erection of 10m x 4m Anti-Vandal container comprising a small kitchen with electrics and plumbing and a disabled toilet).

In High Littleton, Orchard House, at 3 Rotcombe Lane, has applied to discharge some conditions on the planning application to build two new homes. They have applied to discharge of conditions 3 (Arboriculture - Compliance with Arb Method Statement (Pre-occupation)), 5 (Implementation of Wildlife Scheme (Pre-occupation)) and 15 (Sustainable Construction Checklist (bespoke condition)) of application 19/04450/FUL .

Planners have no objection to an application to reduce the height of a Walnut tree at Walnut Tree House , Fosse Way, in Clandown

They also have no objection to an application by Hinton Farm, 5 High Street, in Hinton Charterhouse to remove a Eucalyptus.

Pitway Farmhouse, Pitway Lane, in Farrington Gurney has had its application for a detached garage, home office and swimming pool, refused.
