In planning news in and around Midsomer Norton this week:
An application (under reference: 20/03049/TPO) to cut down an ash tree at 41 Long Barnaby, Welton, Midsomer Norton, has been given consent.
An application to convert Lilliput House, on the Fosseway, in Westfield, into a home from it formerly being used as a shop (so from Class A1 to Class C3) has been withdrawn.
Planners have given the go-ahead to an application to convert 4 Pillsbridge Cottages back into two separate dwellings. The cottages are at Old Mills, in Paulton, BS39 7SR
While in Radstock an application to build a rear extension, and a garage along with new access from the road and off street parking at The Bungalow, in Southfield, has been agreed.
Over at Shoscombe, at Lower Shoscombe Farm, on Rag Hill, planners have agreed to an application to build a single storey rear extension.

It is under consideration and open for comments. The application at Redhouse Farm, at White Cross, in Hallatrow, has applied for a variation of condition 5 (plans list). The reference is (18/04277/FUL). Plans are for a three-bedroomed log cabin and extension of existing stables following the removal of a static caravan, storage room and glass house.
