Council tax meeting coming Monday to Radstock

Radstock residents and businesses are being encouraged to come to a meeting of the Town Council on Monday (January 23) when the budget - and therefore the new council tax - will be discussed.

Details on the spending by the Town Council in the town will be discussed along with details on what the precept might be. Currently under the Radstock budget HERE

Showing that they are considering an increase of 1.88 per cent.

But all the details, which have been recommended by the Finance and General Purposes Committee, will be looked at in detail at Monday's meeting at the Church Hall in the centre of Radstock from 7pm

Other items on the agenda:

  1. Talking to Radstock Town Football Club about the future plans for the side based up at Southfields
  2. Setting the date of the Annual Town Meeting. (Recommended Wednesday 24 May )
  3. An update from the working group about the Town Council buying Trinity Methodist Church on behalf of the town.

Meetings are open to the public, with everyone encouraged to attend.
