Tomorrow would have seen the most dramatic of the Helping Henry charity efforts - a firewalk - which would have gone a long way to reaching the family's target to pay for life-changing surgery.

Then coronavirus came along, and the event, along with so many others had to be cancelled. The charity walk has now been rescheduled for November 20.

The family has now been home from school for three weeks now and all Henry`s therapies, along with the operation he was planning to have, have been cancelled.

He is getting strength and conditioning sessions online now instead of in Wales and will shortly also be starting virtual physiotherapy.

His mum Lara told Nub News: "Doing all Henry`s therapy and school work is hard work when he is so used to others helping or doing these activities with him, Henry cant go without daily stretching and his weekly physiotherapy as its what keeps him mobile as possible and also stops his muscles from contracting which would require surgery to be able to release the muscles again from shortening. We are still working on Henry having his operation this year and will continue to get him as strong as possible to aid his recovery when it finally happens. "

You can still donate to that funding to provide Henry with life changing spinal surgery and intensive therapy for the next three years to give him the best chance of improving his comfort and mobility. You can still donate here:

Although Henry is still in a waiting game, his mum says, that true to form, this little trouper is quite happy with being stuck at home.

Tickets are still available for the firewalk with that new revised date here the eventbrite web site

His mum adds for all Radstock Nub News readers: " Thanks again for keeping everyone posted on our journey its a huge help, especially now."
