Radstock hotel and pub - formerly the Waldegrave Arms - up for sale
The Radstock Hotel at the centre of the town, is up for sale.
The pub and hotel, formerly known as the Waldegrave Arms, is being sold by the luxury estate agents Savills for a guide price of £600,000 - a bargain for the size which works out as £12.25 per sq. ft.
The pub has been part of the fabric of Radstock for hundreds of years but coronavirus, and staffing issues, have caused problems. You can read the Nub News story about it in April last year HERE : the Radstock Nub News site
According to the sale details, the property is a Grade II Listed building constructed in approximately 1700. The building is arranged over three floors and is part stone and brick built with a slate tiled roof to the main building and a clay tiled roof to the single storey extension at the rear. There are a number of outbuildings included within the demise which are brick built with either a pitched tiled or asbestos profile sheeting roof.
