By Susie Watkins 3rd Sep 2020

In an exclusive interview about the coronavirus spike, the local community radio Somer Valley FM, will be interviewing the local director of public health.

At noon today (September 3) the station will be broadcasting questions and answers about the local coronavirus outbreak, as Midsomer Norton residents ask what exactly is going on?

Interviewed by broadcaster Richard Burgess, it is understood that Dr Bruce Laurence will be telling listeners that, sadly, there is no guarantee any vaccine is in the offing.

You can listen to the interview on 97.5FM or on line by clicking HERE: the Somer Valley FM site

Dr Laurence is the Director of Public Health for B&NES.

Yesterday (September 2), although it was reported that the spike in positive cases was "coming under control" it was announced that the mobile testing service for coronavirus at Paulton football club would stay until September 10.
