A new studio on the edge of Midsomer Norton is hoping to raise as much money as possible for a terrific local charity.

Lucid Shadow, which recently opened a brand new tattoo studio in the Old Mills Estate in Paulton, is hosting a charity fundraising open evening on Saturday 2nd March (5-8:30pm) in aid of Suicide Prevention UK, a Bristol based charity.

The studio, which prides itself on offering a safe, inclusive and accessible space for all, chose the name LUCID SHADOW because it represents the duality of light (lucid) and dark (shadow), and it symbolises that after every dark time the sun will rise again.

So that message of hope during bad times, fits perfectly with the aims of Suicide Prevention UK who offer hope to those in need.

The charity has a unique service where if you are worried about someone you can send over a mobile number of the person you are concerned about and they will send a text to that person saying someone cares.

They will have volunteers coming from the charity to help spread the message and donated yummy treats from Huggenkiss Bakery, with all sales going to the charity. There will also be a raffle, and a percentage of all treatments booked that night will be given to Suicide Prevention UK.

Details of the event at Lucid Shadow Tattoo Studio HERE they are in the Old Mills estate.
