The rain was easing today (August 22) as the stalls were ready along the first ever Midsomer Norton jumble trail.

One popular stall, on the corner of St Chad's Avenue a selection of home baked cakes by a talented young chef - being sold to raise money for two charities.

Along with the baked goods, visitors could also buy organic produce and donated food, all served up to highlight a special food sharing App.

Eight year old Jack Cantillon was raising money for Bibic - the UK charity supporting children and young people to help them achieve their true potential. He was dividing his takings equally with them, and the local guinea pig rescue centre.

For just fifty pence visitors could indulge in one of his favourite bakes (and Nub News can vouch it was VERY good) and help out one of the causes.

On the same stall his parents were keen to promote OLIO which is a free app connecting neighbours with each, other so surplus food and household items can be shared.

More than 40 stalls lined the streets of Midsomer Norton, with them open until 4.30pm selling unwanted items for recycling, vintage goods, food and other items.
