A newly re-energised cafe in Radstock, which prides itself on all things local, is expecting a lot of interest in its decor over the next few days, thanks to the general election.

Number 10, as the name suggests, has its own famous front door which is an exact copy of the real thing, without the politicians of course.

The cafe's door was handmade by owner Paul Antoni Dando , who is happy to give the people of Radstock somewhere to escape from all the political fall-out.

Paul explained: "I have always had a passion to own a cafè and later in life, work there when I can't do the physical side of my job which happens to be Architectural Cast Stone (ACS BATH LTD) I created and designed the interior by myself which took six months to create whilst still running my other business."

It was opened earlier this year on Fortescue Road and offers local cakes and pastries along with specialist coffees.

Paul said: " We may not be the original No.10 but we're honest and hopefully provide a better atmosphere and tastier refreshments."

The cafe, is open every day from 9 am except Sundays.

It is also the perfect place for a selfie following the momentous election result not seen since 1979.
