IN case you missed it (and it was not easy to find) these are the votes cast in last week's town elections.

There are some new councillors who will sit on Midsomer Norton Town Council - and some faces who will be familiar.

For Midsomer Norton Redfield: Turnout was (relative to many elections) high at 25.53%. Votes were as follows (top six highest elected to the council)

Total votes 4,108

For Midsomer Norton North Ward : (Turnout even higher 29.01%) and this was the most contested with just five new councillors with the highest votes of candidates now on the Midsomer Norton Town Council. Total votes cast 4,077
